Rob Prior Studio
A Classical Art Education in the Heart of Los Angeles
Beginning in the Renaissance and well into the 19th Century, master artists operated apprentice studios to train the next generation of artists. Through these studios, masters passed their knowledge, techniques, and innovations to apprentices. This method of educating artists persisted for more than 500 years, until it was supplanted by the Art School Model.
One of Rob Prior’s primary goals is to restore the master-apprentice studio experience.
